Lets Talk about The Fed

The Fed or Federal Reserve that is "supposed to be the regulator of our money supply" and "supposed to do so on a Balanced Keel between Money Supply and Labor"

The Intent ( according to those who believe in the FED) was to balance out the desires and needs of both Labor and Big Business back in about 1913. It was if you will a "compromise" between Labor Movement and Big Business back then supposedly to cut down on Labor Troubles.

In Other words the "Big Business Rober Barrons forced this upon us back then to more "effectively Control the working People". That is the REAL REASON it was formed.

The Fed has Nothing to do with "Balance" at all. It was and HAS always been about tilting the balance of power toward BUSINESS and not Labor!! PERIOD......

Over the years the FED has managed to put the squeeze on us workin' class Joes no matter which political party was in control. It most likely will continue to do so.

Especially now that we are allowing the FED and Treasury to be the all powerful regulators of the New Economy. Hell they always have been the regulators haven't they? They didn't do such a great job of late ( last 20 years or so) , so why should we even think they will be able to bring the very powers they represent ( Big Business) under control? They won't that is the facts jack.

If we the people really want to help prevent happening again what has just happened in the latest "financial Crisis" - by the way ever notice how it is only a financial crisis when the Banks, AIG's or the like are affected and we working class folks are affected they call it " us being in violation of our legal contracts" - I Digress, if we want to control them then we must Take Control. We can not let the Fox to regulate the Hen House.

I get sick to my stomach when I hear people repeatedly praise Allen Greenspan for his ability to "keep our financial system sound". WHAT A JOKE !!!

What he did was make policy and take actions regarding the so called "Money supply" so as to more effectively keep us working class bastards working for the people he actually was beholden to !! PERIOD. Those people were 1) BIG BUSINESS 2) which ever political party was in power

Ain't much about that gonna change Brothers and Sisters unless WE MAKE IT CHANGE.

A socialistic Democracy is about the only way it can happen.
And if you are true to history you will see that is why in large part us working class stiffs were ver able to make ends meet. Because of the Labor Movement and UNIONS who were there to FIGHT AGAINST the powers of the Elites.

You can not trust Government EVER , that is one important lesson we should have all learned from the Vietnam Era. Never Ever Trust the Government. Under our present form of Corporatist Democracy or if you will Fascism, the FOX will never be looking out for the welfare of the hens.

Financial Crisis, Looming Glooming Dark Days Ahead and all that said.

I really get frustrated when I hear so called "conservatives" complain about the steps that are being taken to try and avert Total Financial Disaster.

Let's do a small history review.

When Ronald Regan came into power in 1980 he did something to "play to his base", He Granted the Largest Income Tax Reduction since the Great Depression. That was in his FIRST YEAR in office!! He then realized what he had done ( buying into the trickle down BS spouted by Stockton his Financial Guru) and in years 2, 3 and 4 RAISED TAXES at the greatest Rates since the Great Depression !!??

In the Meantime he squandered any hope of recovering a surplus in the National Budget because of his Tax breaks to the Upper Income Bug Business Owners.


Then along cam George Bush SR. ( after 8 years of he and Regan)

He likewise did a foolish and stupid thing his first year in office.
Yep you guessed it he granted a Huge TAX Break to his "Ritch Bitch Buddies"
NONE of us "working People" benefited form any of these so called tax breaks.
ONLY THE RICH did.

What did he have to do? Old George had to eat his own damn words
"Read My Lips no new taxes" - yep he RAISED TAXES in his 2 and 3rd Years in office!!

Now I ask You , do you see a pattern here? UMH??

After George Sr was beat by Clinton ( and please dont confuse me with a clinton follower I am Not) We saw 8 Years of Growth not seen since HOOVER had been in office.
We also witnessed creation of MILLIONS OF NEW JOBS , almost every month of his 8 years.

Clinton left the country with a huge surplus ( any surplus would have been huge considering NO REPUBLICAN since Regan ever ended up with a surplus- ONLY LARGER DEBT)

So 8 years of Clinton and after 1994 a split congress and we got JOBS, GROWTH and Surplus.

Now along comes Little Bush "arbusto" which by the way was the name of the OIL Co. he ran into the ground before he became Gov. of Texas.

For 8 LONG, sometimes Insane Years we watch as he did WHAT??

Handed over the Tax Money that used to be used to fund Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, you name it - to his RITCH BITCH BUDDIES !! Just like Regan and Daddy had done.

NOW the difference would be - he didnt give any back to help the Govt continue our programs and benefits that we all will need someday !!

In essence he Robbed from the POOR to Pay the Ritch !! Just like very other God Dmaned Republican and Conservative SON of a Bitch has done since Time Began !!

We can NOT have a country that helps take care of the Poor, the Old, The Down Trodden and Unemployed and Take care of Roads - Bridges- Health Care- and Many other programs if we do not have TAXES!!! It is as Simple as THAT !!

The USA has the LOWEST Income TAX RATE of any Nation on EARTH.
Yet- we want these programs because they are not just good for those who need them but they are Morally Correct!!

No "so Called Christian - or other Religious Person" should desire any thing other than Maximum Effort to take care of what Conservatives now Label ( like a dirty word) Entitlements.

You can make all the tall tales about "personal Responsibilty" you want. You can recite stories we heard in childhood like the Little Red Hen? You can claim that each of us should be responsible for ourselves. And in many cases that can work, BUT NOT IN ALL OF THEM.

People out here in REAL AMERICA and across the world are HURTING.
MOST of their hurt has been caused by Crooks in teh Financial Industry which actually turn out to be teh VERY SAME people BUSH ( and past presidents) have always given those HUGE TAX BREAKS TO !!

Did you have any say on where your Retirement Plan at the plant invested the underlying funds?
NO NO NO You did NOT!! You might have been able to pick across a few Mutual Funds but that is where YOUR CONTROL ended!! So YOU and I and Every Other Poor SOB out here that has lost their Life Savings in Retirements had NO CONTROL over that did We?

Yet there are those who would say we should "fend for ourselves"
Well In a way we are!!!

Comcast Cable raises Rates 50%

We just got our Comcast Bill in the mail today and they have raised our service rates on Tel, Internet and Television Basic from $100 to $150 per month

This is Totally Un Acceptable !!! In is not warranted.

We recently had a messg left on out Tel Answering Machine by Comcast saying they were "speeding up our internet to almost double the speed and it would be at No Extra Cost"

First of all they were actually increasing bandwidth because they had filled up the local pipes and everyones speed had "DECREASED" because of this. So they were just doing what they should be doing to "MAintain" the service they sold in the first place. They were NOT INcreasing Rates of speed at all !!

Secondly they LIED on that Messg they left, the increase in our Bill is 50% !!!!


Therefore I am calling them tommorow and telling them to Un HOOK Every Goid Damned thing
TV- Internet- Telephone

We may or may not replace these services with another provider- I am unsure right now
But for SURE we are dumping our COMCAST SERVICE. They are taking advantage of people because they know many folks just got a small raise because of the "stimulus " that was put in place. Many folks started seeing these raises in their take home pay just before COMCAST started this bullshit !!!

The Govt and the Country is going to Hell in a Hand Bag!!

Unless OBAMA and Co. actually change and take us to SOCILIASM then we will Fail to be a Country any longer. SOCIALISM where we can take over companies like the Banks - AIG and maybe even like COMCAST that take advantage of people at every chance they get should no longer be able to make a profit or stay in business on a private basis.

When I was a young child I began to notice that I felt and even sometimes heard things that others did not or maybe could not. I was scared of that sensation then, and even maybe a little now.

Hope you won't ship me off to the loony bin but I have to share this with you all or I will bust.

Early on in Life I knew I could understand the animals I was being taught to hunt by my father.
I could sense their presence before I would see them or hear them?
Back then I was only interested in Killing them? I don't know why I was other than I was being taught to do it. I enjoyed hunting because I was in the woods with my father usually at that age.
He would not let me stray far from him at that tender age.

As I grew up and branched out in my endeavors beyond Hunting and Fishing I noticed that these same "sensations" followed me as I dealt with people in my life? Now that seemed weird to me.

( Oh Boy my family sees this I will get sent away I think)

But anyway, Now in this time of my life I think I understand more about what this is.
I have always been able to " get along with any animal" - even wild animals .

If I would take a walk in the woods without the intent of "hunting to kill" I almost always would have wild animals approach me. They get almost scary close to me. I fell as though I can understand them? Weird Unh?

Even in my back yard in town , I have had Hawks and Falcons fly near to me and roost.
A Hawk a couple of years ago dropped several feathers to me while I was under him as he roosted in a maple tree out back. That same year I was going to a local park to help feed Deer.

There is a lady who has fed deer in a local park near me for well over 20 years now.
I had just encountered her and her feedings by accident this same year and came to actually "know" some of these deer. One we named "Fudgey" he was a little 1 year old fork horn( 4 points) that looked like a spike buck. He approached me in the parking lot of this park one day while I was alone and before I knew the "Deer Lady". It startled me when this deer walked right up to me in that parking lot at the park but I stood my ground.

I was the only person around at that time of day , around 1pm in the afternoon.

He walked up to me close enough I could touch him. And I did. He stood still and just looked at me. Almost as if to say "Hello- I think I like you" Gettin Weirder aint it!

This was early fall of that year. Later on over the course of the "daily Feedings" at the park I got to know others in the deer herd. Pretty Boy was an 8 Point Buck that when I hunted I would have died to be able to shoot? He allowed me to pet him right between his Large Massive antlers one day as I put down some corn. I could actually call the deer up to feed. My son was there one day when I called them up.

There were no other Humans around so I called them to feed " Pretty Boy" " Fudgey" Babies come get your corn" I recited that several times and before long out of nowhere came about 16 Deer !

Well I think my son was shocked.

At the end of that years fall going into winter when the deer start to drop their antlers I was given a gift. "Fudgey" my little Fork Horned Buddy cam e up to me one day as I was feeding the herd at the edge of the parking lot. He walked right up to the front of my car where I was sitting because it was so cold outside and began knocking his little antlers off!

He dropped them right in front of my white Buick! Which all the deer by now recognized as a source of food and friendship. They would actually come running to the parking lot if they saw my car and there was nobody else around. If other Humans were around they would wait to see if it was s afe before they would approach the parking lot.

There are more tales like this but I am getting long in the word I think.

With all the talk about Illegal Immigration and people crossing "our borders" for what ever purpose I thought it might be appropriate to remind everyone that we are all ( almost all) immigrants in the land we call AMERICA.

None of us , aside from the Real Americans whom our ancestors took this land from, are entitled to be called Americans.

March 21, 2009 "Information Clearing House" -- The country is coming to conclusions that a year ago would be unthinkable. The current turmoil on Wall Street has convinced many Americans of something that has been said for years, but nobody really believed…entirely. That something was that lawyers and bankers cannot be trusted. The American people know by now that the advice is largely true, they can’t be trusted. Neither can politicians, stockbrokers and financial advisors. In fact, people are starting to realize the entire concept of capitalism can’t be trusted, not just for the average Joe, but for the entire country. Capitalism is not your friend; it never has been and will not be in the future. It will continue to feed the rich, in fact, more than just feed them, but it won’t help the average wage earner realize the American dream. That’s never what it was designed to do. It was put in place to insure that the rich got richer and that the not so rich would stay where they were and to be grateful they could feed their families.

This isn’t the first time that capitalism has failed. Every time it fails we use a form of temporary socialism to shore up the economy. When things start to return to normal, we give everything back to the capitalists. Why is that? Could it be that we have no choice?

Ever notice how people equate capitalism with belief in God and country? They defend capitalism as if any other kind of government will lead them into slavery. The truth is that capitalism is an express ticket into slavery. Still, for every worker that recites a story of abject horror, there is an example of how the shining example of individualism embodied in the dogma of “free enterprise” has lifted a poor person out of his or her misery into nirvana. Pulling yourself up from your bootstraps is another way of contributing to the myth that capitalism works for everyone. I would like to see the ratio of millionaires that inherited their wealth vs. those that made their own money. If it were true that people surmounted the difficulties of amassing wealth and that many had truly “made it on their own”, the empirical evidence would be touted from every capitalist media outlet to every citizen in the country, just to prove that “free enterprise” works, yet it just isn’t there.

We Americans watch as our leaders try every trick in the book to grease the skids of our languishing economic system. We watch as AIG and other parasitic financial institutions grasp at every stray dollar they can con out of the people in a vain attempt to shore up their crumbling empires. The Federal government has allocated another trillion dollars to shore up the secondary real estate market and attempt to get Americans to buy real estate again. Meanwhile, Richard Cook, an economist that worked on NASA’s budget proposes that instead of trying to ignite the fires of consumerism with money given directly to large capitalist financial markets, the government could better stimulate the economy by giving citizens $1,800.00 vouchers monthly to pay their utilities and mortgages and to buy food and other essentials. This he claims would stimulate the economy by putting hard cash in the hands of consumers. Wouldn’t this be the end result the government is trying to achieve? Yet nobody takes this proposal seriously, at least not the government or those failing institutions with their sweaty palms out. Seems as they believe that money would be better off left in the hands of those that have brought us to where we are today, to hoard it or to siphon it off in undeserved salaries or bonuses, anywhere but on the streets so that consumers could spend it.

Are there forces at work in our lives

Any of you that follow my blog know that in recent years I have come to not believe in a GOD.
That said, I do think there are forces in the Universe that we know very little about.
I believe as a Human Being we all have some forces within us to create and change the Universe.

But still, there are times in our lives when we just can't explain what has happened or why?

Some years back I experienced this myself. In Fact, I have experienced it frequently throughout my life on this planet over the last 58 years.

I recently watched several videos at youtube regarding Angels and the like. Now I said I dont believe in God so don't go gettin' all worked up friends because ya think Ol Sarge may have reconverted? Haha

But seriously, those videos did bring back some memories for me. Some really unexplainable events in my life that I guess some would say were because of those Angels.

One of those happened at Myrtle Beach SC while my family and I were on Vacation some years ago. My son was very about 3 or 4 yrs old (I Think) at the time. He and I were in the Ocean swimming with a little Surf Board style floating device. I would put him on it and together we would ride the small waves ( 2 oe 3 ft) in toward shore. It was going great then, a Large Wave came along and swept him( my son) off that board and under the water! I could not see him or find him !!! Oh My God I thought in my mind, He is Going to DIE!! I became frantic!!

I started going under the water and trying to find him !! The water was murky and the salt burned into my eyes- I could Not See!! I was Blind and I couldn't find him!!!

I am not sure how much time went by, but it felt like an eternity! I was now just grasping under the water with my hands trying to touch any part of him, to locate him.

Finally I felt something against my hand under the water. I GRABBED ON with all the strength I had and Pulled to the surface.

It was My SON- Choking and coughing BUT still Breathing and Still ALIVE in my ARMS!!

How did that happen? What caused me to be able to find him when I could not see?
How did I just manage to touch him in that murky water pull him to safety?

Do you know why?


Then there was the time I was fishing for trout in the mountains of West Virginia.
My Father in Law was with me. We had been fishing for several days near the Canaan Valley on the Black Water River. Pretty good luck and several nice Trout in the bag to take home for the annual Birthday Trout fry for my sons BDay.

On the last day we ( actually I ) decided we would go over to the Dry Fork River which is about 25 miles from where we were camped. So we hopped in the old Eagle Station Wagon and drove over to the Dry Fork.

Dry Fork was a great river to fish, nice and wide , strong currents and deep holes that Trout just love to lay in wait in for Food rushing into the head of the Hole from the rapids.

So we picked a spot where I had fished many times before with pretty good luck.
Just after we got our lines wet here comes one of those "White Water Tours" down the river!
Damn, right into our Fishing Hole they came with their Canoes and Paddles messing up the fishing I thought to myself. Then as I looked out into the stream I saw coming out of the rapids above our Fishing Hole a Canoe - and NOBODY was in It !! What the heck I thought? Then I saw a Man flailing about in the water but swimming down stream with the current, he cried out help my wife!!

I looked up stream to the very head of the Hole , there were several Large Round Rocks at the top of the hole, and hanging on to one of them for dear life was a lady !!!

I ran up the bank, threw down my fishing pole. I had on my Wading Boots ( Hip waders). I ran into the waist High Water towards the lady. ( This meant my boots filled with Very Cold Water quickly) She was about 75 feet from my shore.
I Pushed on through the water without any difficulty at all ?? I made My way to her and told her I was there to help her. She looked at me with fear in her eyes and said I can't swim Help me or I will die !!

That escalated the situation for me! So I reached Over the rock from the Upstream Side I was on. She was hanging on to that rock somehow, I don't know how, it was ROUND? And below her was probably 50FT of Water in Depth, moving Extremely FAST. A Back wash below the rock was foaming white and she was in it !!!!

I grabbed her under her arms pulled her to me, put her on my back(piggy Back style) and went back to shore. Helped her up to the place where her husband and now guide of the tour were at.
I think they said thanks? I never Got her Name or I can't remember it.
All I know is she was the Niece of a Dentist I used to go to when I was a child in my hometown in the Northern Panhandle of WV. Doc McCurdy.

I do not know how in the world I was able to plow through that water that day.
The lady didn't even seem heavy to me on my back in that Raging Water?
And was it coincidence that she was related to someone I had known when I was a young Child, someone that had treated me with kindness in his Dentist Chair when I was scared out of my wits about getting a tooth filled?

Hard Work

I was talking with a friend on line awhile back about the first jobs we had when we started working for a living away back in the 1970 period. I am in my late fifties now.

After a few short lived jobs in manufacturing places like Marx Toys and a few stores, I got on at a local Glass Plant as a steady afternoon shift labor. Basically I was a janitor when I started but at that job you cleaned up some weird stuff. Left over grinder dust on the floors so deep it looked like a 3 foot snowfall. Of course we had no "masks" for protection back then.

I was fortunate ( I Guess) that one afternoon the Head "Melting Foreman" came back to my work station and offered to let me help go out in the factory to assist in a "Pot Set". He said I would make quite a bit more money for doing this than my regular rate of pay , so I said OK.

At that point I would have done just about anything to make more money. I had just got married several months before this Job and my wife was carrying our first child.

I went on that pot set and was exposed to what I still call the hardest and Hottest Job I believe ever existed in the world!! Those Glass Furnaces had sixteen pots in a circular pattern with a burner in the middle ( Natural Gas) that ran at temperatures of 2400 Degrees Fahrenheit.

We had to first put on a full body suit of silver Cape and Hood ( asbestos) that would protect us from the extreme heat when we Knocked down the Walls that encased the POT in the furnace, exposing us to the RAW Flame from that HUGE Natural Gas Burner. You could only stand it for a very few moments then you had to retreat and someone else took your place. After the Old Pot was pulled out using an Enormous manual Fork Lift about 25 feet long made of solid steel, you them inserted the new POT with the same fork lift. Then you built back up the walls around the POT FACE and sealed it all up so the heat would be Inside the furnace not leaking outside the POT FACE.

That process took some where around 30 to 45 minutes with acrew of about 20 Men.

After that your REGULAR SCHEDULED work on the melting crew began for the evening.
( I can remember thinking that first night- you gotta be shittin me we still have to work after all this heat we just absorbed? I was Drained out of sweat - only white chalking dust was on my skin)

Your regular work consisted of Sweeping up all the broken glass and dirt from around 3 of these furnaces in 2 different buildings. Taking down all the press's that had been used by the Glass Workers that day. Ladling out pots of HOT GLASS to clean out impurities. Then grabbing your 6 or 7 Wagon Loads of Glass Batch that you would use to fill your assigned Pots that night.
Each Wagon Load held about 1200 LBS of Batch. You moved those wagons by yourself by pulling on the handle much like you would on a little red wagon - but these were extremely heavy! They were about 4 ft wide by 2 ft deep and around 8 Feet Long.

You filled Pots ( all 6 or 7) at 3 different intervals each evening using 1/3 of the batch in each wagon at each pot filling. Then after the First Pot Fill, you started resetting ALL the Presses for the next Days Production Schedule. As I said there were 3 Furnaces with 16 pots on each one.
Most days almost all the pots would be in use for production, so you do the math on the number of Press Shops we had to set each night. Those press's were SOLID STEEL AS WELL.
They were of an Ungodly weight so we helped ech other set those press's.

The very first night I finshed the work on this job I weighed myself and I had lost 10 LBS in one night !! That was shocking to me since I only weighed in at about 125 LBS then to start with.

I quickly developed a HUGE capacity to EAT and Drink !!!

As My friend and I talked about our past jobs we wondered how in the world any of us back then managed to get through those days.

Several more really hard Jobs followed that first one for me But that Melting Crew Job facing all that heat and pulling all that weight each night will remain a memory for me that I still call the Hardest Job I ever had.

Later on I would move to the day shift at that factory and I started on obtaining my Glass Workers Card( apprentice to enter the Skilled Trade Union). A couple years later before I finished that apprentice work I was offered a job at a " Calcine Petroleum Coke Plant" that I accepted.

I can remember how excited I was to get that Job!!

It would more than Double My Hourly wages from $1.73 to over $4.75 per hour !!!!

Imagine that would ya? I had worked at a job ( like many then) that damn near killed me each Night for $1.73 per hour

I went on to that next Job for the money ( $4.75 per hour) and started my first job there as a Labor busting Gigantic Lumps of Coke out of railroad cars ( 100 tons cars) with a Sledge Hammer EVERY DAY !!! Damn that was hard too !! But hell, I was making all that money!!

Amazing I ever lived through those days and I still don't know how I did it.

Jon is exposing the truth about how we as "customers" in the investment arena are being and have been treated. How these things led to where we are now, not because of the "Alleged Fault" by mortgage holders. ( mortgage Holders did NOT cause this crisis at all) The Banks and Firms did by using at times Illegal Methods and at least far too risky methods of trying to Suck Dry the returns from the Money peope have invested.


I spent a couple decades in the Financial Industry
I know how badly customers are treated and LIED to By even the "most respected" firms and BANKS.

And Oh - isn't it Ironic that it takes the Daily Show to expose the real deal about these things instead of the "Financial Networks" on TV??

I want to re state a known fact and one that I still have heard from anyone on as to why the Bail Out (TARP) money fronm last year was EVER APPROVED.

FACT - Banks do not loan their own money oout ( ie Stock Holders and Bond Holders Money)
They LOAN out the "depositers money" - those with CD's, Savings etc in the bank. that is in fact how they(banks) make money. Pay you less for your interest on savings than they charge for loaned out funds.

FACT - If a Bank would have had so many mortgage holders fail to pay their loans wouldnt that have meant that the People who had moneu in that bank as deposits would have lost money since that is the actual money that was loaned out? Then wouldnt FDIC step in to protect those INSURED DEPOSITS and therefore all would be well?

With all the Hub Bub going on about the economy and people getting scared about that.
We haven't been paying much attention to the WAR(s) have we?

I was glad to see that President Obama is still planning on getting the troops out at least by 2011.

We ( I ) should have never expected him to get into office then immediately pull out of IRAQ, it really doesn't work that way. It didn't during Vietnam!

In 1968 after the TET offensive and all the Intelligence( or lack there of) failures that Gen Westmoreland's Comnmand finally admitted to there should not have been anyone alive at that time that did not realized the US was getting out of Vietnam. It was a certain thing that we would get out. It took until 1973 for ALL US Ground Forces ( regular kind) were ordered out of Country then. WE lost a Lot of Good Soldiers between 1968 and 1975 the end of the war in Vietnam. The Politicians ( regardless of party) took their damn sweet time about getting us out of that hell whole. On that wall in Washington DC there are over 30,000 names that were killed after 1968 with the total being over 58,000 for the war from 1959 to 1975.

It will Not be any different this time around.

There are and will be people who complain that when we leave the shit will hit the fan over there! Hell - they will probably go back to being a dictatorship? They might even harbor terrorists? They might become friends with a country we don't like( Iran or Russia)?

Yeah I Know all those tired ass old excuses about NOT GETTING TROOPS OUT of the Shit.

How about taking a little time out of your busy schedule to insure that these troops when they do get home are treated for their Injuries Properly, are Taking Care if By the VA, are given anything they need to live a life beyond their active service to this Country.

They wrote this coutry a Blank Check when they joined up - which amounted to them being willing to give their lives for this country(people).

Feeling

Do you feel? Do you really Feel?
When the music plays do you hear it or feel it?
When you play music ( if you play) do you play it or feel it?
When you experience your life each day , do you live it or feel it?

Feeling is a strange and wonderful sensation we have as Human Beings.

We can not only do things and perform things and say things and smell things and touch things
BUT we CAN FEEL them all. Deep Deep within ourselves there is this place where only we
Can go and experience ourselves. Just Us nobody Else need be there, only you.

When I was performing music ( away back in the 60's) I was always captivated by the sounds that came about when Our Band Played the songs. I never really noticed then That I was "feeling" the Music instead of playing it. It was only later In Life that I experienced the Feeling of the music rather than just playing it.
In the Band, I would become lost in the song.

However - there are things we experience in Life that hinder our feeling ability.
Danger, Harm, Violence and Treachery can be things that Impede our ability to feel.
When we experience these types of negatives we become less sensitive to the positive.
War, does this to people in an extreme way.
Violence of any type will do this to us as humans.

We can however Re Learn our senses and feelings.
We can Re Claim our Ability to feel- if we desire to.
But after these negatives we have to work at it to regain those long lost feelings.

After my 58 years on this planet and all that I have managed to live through.
I long for my childhood Feelings once again.
The Easy feelings of Love- Peace- Joy-Friends- Family

To become as Children again.
That should be our goal.
Pure and Innocent.
Loving and Caring
Being Human with each other

I am in Favor of starting the DRAFT again

You know when the idea of a draft restart came about several years ago I was not in favor of it.
But that was then ans this is now, and we have a new President and Congress is now controlled by the Other Party rather than the Neo Cons.

I am in support of a draft if for no other reason than to force the Blow Hard Conservative SOBs to either Put up or Shut Up !

You know people like Rush Limbaugh, who when he had the chance to serve his country he Dodged the Draft and service to America by claiming he had a Boil on his ass. BUT this time around there would be NO DEFERMENTS of any kind. Everyone serves that is able to.

We could use the work in this country for one thing. We could also solve the border guarding problems using drafted individuals into Military Service.

We could use the increased numbers to help relieve our Troops who have already been put through the Meat Grinder for 3 or 4 tours of duty in IRA and Afghanistan.

Aint nothing wrong with National Service in my way of thinking.

We won WW2 using Drafted Enlisted Men and Women
WE Fought Korea using them as well
And we sure as hell used them in Vietnam.

This current Neo Conservative War Effort touted by people like RUSH and GW BUSH and Dick 5 Deferment Cheney has largely been shouldered by people that actually believe in service to country!! Unlike the Leaders That sent them into Battle.

A Draft I believe would be a Good Thing Right Now.

Every Able Bodied Person say between ages 18 and 60 should be FORCED to serve at least 2 years in service to country unless you have already fulfilled your service before.

Draft every single Conservative SOB that supports people like Limbaugh and the Republican Party- Put Every God Damned One of em into the shit.

Its about time they quit being "cheerleaders" ( like GW was during Vietnam) and start accepting some responsibilty for the future of their country!!!
